3pc Vintage Taiwan Postcard Tainan Chung-Cheng Rd Confucius Taichung ROC Mid Cen

This is a beautiful 3-piece lot of vintage, color-tinted scenic postcards showcasing historic landmarks in Tainan and Taichung, Taiwan. These pieces date back to the mid-20th century, from the post-WWII era under Republic of China administration, and were produced by the well-known local publisher Shepherd.

The set includes three distinct views:
First is Tainan's Chung-Cheng Road, formerly known as Suehirocho. It features the iconic Art Deco unified terrace street view with the historic Hayashi Department Store visible on the far right.
Second is the Tainan Confucius Temple. It captures the majestic red walls and traditional gate of Taiwan's oldest Confucius temple, featuring the central plaque that translates to the First Academy of Taiwan.
Third is the Taichung Liu-Ho Lake Pavilion. It depicts a picturesque view of the landmark twin-peaked floating pavilion on the lake in Taichung Park, complete with vintage rowboats in the foreground.

All three cards feature the identical, distinct Shepherd German Shepherd dog emblem inside the stamp box on the reverse side, along with vintage nationalist slogans printed at the bottom.
